The White-capped Albatross (Thalassarche cauta steadi) breeds on islands off of Tasmania and New Zealand and can be spotted off the southern coast of Australia’s mainland. The greyish cheeks give the appearance of a white cap and their wingspan can reach 2.5 metres.
