Laughing Kookaburras (Dacelo novaeguineae) are a species of kingfisher and are native to eastern Australia. Both the males and females are brown and white and have touches of light blue on their wing feathers. Their ‘laughing’ call is one of the most distinctive calls of the Australian bush.
