Extra Info

About the Paper

My Australian wildlife fine art prints are made using a premium quality 310gsm 100% cotton paper. This acid free paper is made without any Optical Brightening Agents, (these are artificial brighteners that are often used in cheaper papers and deteriorate in time and shorten the longevity of prints). Being museum-grade, this archival paper meets the requirements of galleries and museums for art conservation.

As my fine art prints are produced entirely in-house, I’m able to compare them with my original drawings at each stage of the printing process to ensure they are as close to the original as possible. This cuts down on production costs meaning I can provide outstanding quality giclée prints to my customers at reasonable prices.

Framing Info

Prints are sold unmounted and unframed. The sizes available are standard frame sizes that can be found in most department stores. If possible, choose a frame with UV protective glass and acid free backing board (or you could place a piece of acid free paper behind the print yourself) as this will protect the print from fading and it will stay vibrant for many years. For maximum longevity, I recommend having it professionally framed and asking the framer to use conservation glass and backing board.

Caring for your prints
If storing prints long-term before framing, remove them from their packaging and keep away from dust, UV light and humidity in archival boxes with interleaving acid free sheets.

To prolong the life of your framed prints, it’s recommended to have them professionally framed behind UV protective glass with acid free backing board and mount, and kept away from humidity and direct sunlight.
